A charming alpine chalet set to undergo a full renovation and extension, renewed with thoughtful spatial design, refined decorative finishes, and curated furnishings.

The Chalet is being conceived as an elegant, cocooning retreat. A place of warmth, texture and quiet luxury. The design moves away from alpine cliché, instead embracing raw, tactile materials, soft lighting and a palette driven by depth rather than colour.

Texture becomes the primary design language, with layered wools, bouclés, tweeds and natural fibres sitting alongside expressive timber, stone and softly glazed tiles. There is a softness to the scheme, but also a sense of richness and conviction, spaces that feel deeply comforting, yet beautifully considered.

This is a family home at heart, designed for togetherness and shared moments after a day on the slopes. Bedrooms are imagined as the epitome of cosy, while areas such as the cinema room are allowed to become moodier and more intimate. The overall feeling is one of calm, warmth and understated elegance; a place to escape and slow down.
